zu tisch / at table is a spatial installation that was on view for two months at akku kunstkiste, a flexible exhibition space in Uster. A staged dining room, placed in the city park, gives the impression of having just been abandoned.

The starting point for the creation of the installation is the play "fischblütig" by Beatrice Stebler, a whimsical chamber play in a family context. Excerpts from the play can be heard on site. The installation sees itself as an association to the play. The two works are in a dialogue, but also function independently of each other.
